Considering them being a major company and partnered with such huge companies like activion i recommend fixing this problem, update the installer file for god sake, im stuck not being able to do anything, its so unfair, you go buy a game just to find out that you cant even install the launcher that helps install the game, atleast have an alterative way to install.

Any pending game updates will download once the application is opened. Start the game in windowed mode click the blizzard icon on the blizzard app; At the top it will read you have already redeemed a code for battle.net.

Make Sure You’re Starting The App.

I have the same probleme and i just fix it !!good luck! Navigate to the folder containing the battle.net directory: Select all agent, blizzard battle.net desktop app, and game processes, and click end process.
